Well - we went looking for Bluebonnets today - I think it is the state flower or something like that.I'm guessing we didn't get enough rain in Dallas or something because...THERE AREN'T ANY IN DALLAS!
We had seen years before fields of bluebonnets and parents taking photos of their babies and children by the dozens. We even have had a Bluebonnet Cruise in years past with my beetle club, well - I'm glad we didn't waste our time with that this year because even the places that were natorious for their bursting pastures of bluebonnets were barren.
We drove to 3 or 4 locations that we knew had bountiful harvests in the past and struck out at each one...we drove around Dallas for about 2 hours, and guess what...nothing, zip, nada...
Anyhoo - we were still able to fire off about 105 photos of the adorable munchkin and his Easter goodies at the house.
